REGISTRATION

I have not received a confirmation email. Should I be concerned?

You should receive a confirmation email within a few hours of submitting your registration form. If you have registered more than a week ago and have not received confirmation, please email registration@wcsfp.com.

I am no longer able to attend. Can someone else attend in my place?

Yes. Registration fees are non-refundable, but they are fully transferable. If you would like your registration to be transferred to a colleague, you must email registration@wcsfp.com. There is a 50 € administrative fee for this service.

Will I receive a receipt/invoice for my registration fee?

Yes. You will have the opportunity to download and print a PDF copy of your receipt upon completion of registration.

Visa Requirements for Morocco

Delegates are responsible for ensuring they meet the visa requirements to enter Morocco. We recommend checking the visa regulations specific to your nationality well in advance of your travel dates. Registration Desk:
Pick up your registration package and member badge at the Registration Desk in the Entrance Hall.

Registration Desk and Member Lounge Hours:

• Monday, December 9: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Tuesday, December 10: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Thursday, December 11: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday, December 12: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Member Lounges:
Two Member Lounges are available—one inside and one outside the Conference Center. Open all day, these lounges are perfect for networking and informal meetings.

Try to be green:

Let’s work together to reduce waste! Water dispensers will be available at the Conference Center. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle or cup to refill. Together, we can make a positive impact.

TRANSPORTATION

Getting To/From the Airport:

• Complimentary shuttles will run in round trips  between Marrakesh Airport and conference hotels on December 8 & 9 forr arrivals and December 12 & 13 for departures.
•  Route: Medina (Koutoubia Car Park), Hotel Riad Ennakhil, and Conference Hotel La Rotana. Airport Assistance: Look for the WCSFP/Host Sponsor Desk in the arrivals hall to arrange your shuttle. Shuttles operate on a full-capacity basis, with regular round trips.
• Individual taxis are also available for ~300 MAD (~27 €).

City Shuttles:
Complimentary shuttles will operate between key locations: Medina (Koutoubia Car Park), Riad Ennakhil, and the Conference Center. CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE SHUTTLE SCHEDULE.

Taxis:

• Taxis are the quickest way to navigate Marrakesh.
• Always set a fixed price before your trip. Note: taxis accept cash only.

How do I get to/from the airport?

Thanks to the generosity of our Host Partner, shuttle services will be provided between Marrakesh Airport and the conference hotels between December 8-13. CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE SHUTTLE SCHEDULE.

A WCSFP desk will be available at the airport to assist with shuttle arrangements. Shuttles will depart once they reach full capacity. 

Alternatively there are multiple options to get to and from Marrakech Menara Airport, including public busses and taxis. Marrakech Menara Airport is a 20 minute drive or a 40 minute transit ride from downtown Marrakech. Individual transfer by taxi from the airport to the hotel or city center cost approximately 300 MAD (around 27 €).

Return flight information

For your return flight, please note that Marrakesh Airport security does not accept digital boarding cards. Ensure your boarding card is printed ahead of time at your hotel, riad, or the airport desk.

LUNCHES AND SOCIAL EVENTS

Lunches During Congress:

• December 10-12: Served in the Hotel Restaurant, 12:30 PM–2:00 PM
• Note: Congress badges are required at all times, including for lunch and evening social events.

Lunch Options for December 9:

If you're looking for lunch on December 9:

• Buffet Lunch: Available at the Hotel Restaurant, 12:30 PM–2:30 PM (450 MAD).
• O'live Pool Bar at La Rotana Hotel: Order from the menu (12:00 - 5:00PM).
• Pool Bar at Riad Ennakhil: (12:00PM-5:00PM)
• Medina Lunch: Check the shuttle schedule to visit the Medina and explore Moroccan cuisine.

What should be worn for social events?

Gala Dinner: Dress for the occasion.

Studio Tour and Berber Party: Wear comfortable shoes and bring a warm jacket.

Do I need to bring my badge to the evening social events?

Yes. All attendees must bring their badge to all evening social events; without it you may be refused entry. Social events are reserved for registered members only.

Swapcard – CONGRESS '24 event platform & app

How do I access the online event?

You will receive an email with log in details for Swapcard, our online event platform. Click on the button in the email to connect to the online platform. Once you have created your password, you will arrive in the event's home menu. Please note that delegate accounts are limited to a single user and will be locked if shared with multiple users.

I did not receive or lost the registration email. What should I do?

You can login here using the email you used to register. If you are logging in for the first time, you will need to send yourself a magic link to setup your password.

What do I do if my magic link expires?

The magic link is an email with a security token personalized for your email address, and it expires in one hour or after you use it. If your magic link has expired, you can send yourself a new one from the login page.

What if I can't login via the login page?

If you are unable to login, please check that you are using the email address you used for your registration. Also, please check your spam or clutter folder for your magic link email. If you are still unable to login, please contact us at registration@wcsfp.com.

How do I see and edit my profile?

Once you are in the home menu, click on My Profile in the menu or “Edit” beside your profile image. You can add or remove your personal details here.

What information in my profile is accessible to other members?

Public profile information that is accessible by all delegates of the event includes first and last name, company, biography, social networks (if completed), and skills (if completed).

Private information is accessible by those members with whom you are connected, meaning you either sent/received and accepted a meeting request. Information available to connections includes first and last name, company, biography, social networks (if completed), skills (if completed, email, telephone number (if completed) and address (if completed).

I can't find myself in the attendee list. Why not?

You will not appear to yourself when viewing the attendee list. If you would like to view or edit your profile, click on My Profile in the menu or “Edit” beside your profile image. You can add or remove your personal details here.

Do I need a particular device or bandwidth to attend the event?

You will need an internet connection and a web browser (recommended: Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari). We recommend high-speed Internet for a better visual experience.

Can I access the event on my phone or tablet?

Yes. You will need to download the Swapcard app on the App Store or Google Play.

Can I build my own personal schedule?

Yes, when viewing the schedule (All Sessions & Events), you can add sessions by clicking the calendar icon next to the name of the session/event.

What time zone is the event in?

The event schedule displays in GMT; however, you can change it to display according to the time zone of your device.

How can I see which sessions I have selected to attend?

Click on My Event in the menu. You can then click "My Schedule" to see all the sessions and events that you have added to your schedule.

Can I export my personalized schedule to my calendar?

Yes. To access your personalized schedule, click on "My Event" (main menu) and then "My Schedule" (top left in My Event). On the right, you will see options to either export to your calendar or export as a PDF. 

How can I connect with other members of the community?

You can view the list of all delegates under Attendees. Simply click on a member you would like to connect with and send them a connection request or simply press the little Add icon next to their image.

Can I be reminded of my upcoming meetings?

Automatic notifications are sent when you receive a meeting request, but you will also receive a reminder a few minutes before the meeting starts. If you wish to cancel a meeting, you can do so under My Agenda and My Meetings.

What if I don’t want to be visible in the Attendees list?

You can make yourself visible or invisible at any time. To manage your visibility, go to Attendees and adjust the Visibility button according to your preference.

WI-FI ACCESS

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the Conference Center.

USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT MARRAKESH

Weather:
Expect mild weather with daytime highs of 20°C (68°F) and evening lows of 7°C (45°F).

Currency:
The official currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Exchange counters at the airport and medina require your passport.

ATMs and Credit Cards:

• ATMs are widely available, and international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, and shops.
• The closest ATM is a 3-minute walk from the Hotel du Golf, located at the Palmeraie Golf Palace.

MOROCCAN ETIQUETTE AND TRADITION

• Be mindful of local customs.
• Avoid drinking alcohol in public places.
• Dress modestly to respect cultural norms.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Tips to Stay Healthy:

• Wash hands before eating.
• Wash and peel fruits and vegetables in bottled water where possible.
• Ensure meat is thoroughly cooked.
• Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
• Bottled water is recommended including for brushing your teeth.

Medical Coverage:
A medical team will be on-site at the Conference Center during the Congress. For emergencies, call Morocco’s toll-free number: 141.
