Jared Lipworth, Director, Science Programs; THIRTEEN (USA) As director of science programs, Jared is responsible for commissioning and executive producing all science programs produced by Thirteen’s science department. Current projects in production or development include The Human Spark with Alan Alda, Secrets of the Dead IX, Ground War, The Cell, The End of Overeating, and more. Recently completed projects include the Emmy-winning The Mysterious Human Heart, the Emmy-nominated Curious, Warplane and Secrets of the Dead VI & VII. Jared looks for one-offs that fit into the Secrets of the Dead strand, and limited-run 2-to-6 part series and specials about science, technology, the environment and science/history.
