Jill Fullerton Smith, Commissioning Editor, Specialist Factual, Channel 4 (UK)

Jill Fullerton Smith was appointed Commissioning Editor in the C4 Specialist Factual team in September 2011. She moved into the role from her position as Creative Director, Specialist Factual, BBC Scotland where she spent four years, setting up and then overseeing the new department which grew significantly and produced ambitious top rating science shows for the BBC. Jill was an executive producer in the London Science Unit for eight years. Her credits include Seven Wonders of the Industrial World, Little Angels, Truth about Food and Jimmy’s Food Factory.
