Sue Clothier, General Manager, Factual Television, ScreenWorld (Australia)

During a 20 year career in the entertainment industry, Sue Clothier has had a diverse range of experience in television production.

Sue Clothier is recognized as one of Australia’s leading documentary production executives and creative producers with a great depth of experience in production logistics and the management of large creative and production teams.

Sue is General Manager of Factual Television at ScreenWorld (formerly Becker Entertainment), a leading global producer of high-end documentary programs.

Sue produced with Charles Hannah the acclaimed feature docu-drama directed by Gillian Armstrong Unfolding Florence: The Many Lives of Florence Broadhurst, which was Australia’s only official selection at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Other honours given to programs Sue has produced include a Silver World Medal (New York Film Festival), Special Jury Award (The Explorers Club Documentary Film Festival), Silver Award (Omni Intermedia Awards) and a Bronze World Medal (New York Festival 2003).

ScreenWorld is currently in production of a Canada/Australia docu-drama entitled Darwin’s Brave New World, with Screen Australia and partnering with Canadian production company Ferns Productions. Darwin’s Brave New World will be broadcast on ABC and CBC.
