Annamária Tálas , Director/Producer, Real Pictures (Australia)
Annamária Tálas is a specialized science documentary producer/director with an international track record. She started her carrier in Budapest as a in-house producer at the Hungarian State TV before moving to London to work as an independent filmmaker. Her documentaries have shown at international film festivals and won many awards. As a documentary director, she has made programs for the ABC, ARTE, BBC, CBC, Discovery Channel and WGBH NOVA. Her most recent films include the award winning How Kevin Bacon Cured Cancer and The Hobbit Enigma. As a producer she has created with her partner Simon Nasht series like the Discovery/SBS science magazine Future Tense and adventure series Lonely Planet. She is based in Sydney, Australia.
