Richard Life, Head of Factual, Acquisitions, ITV Studios Global Entertainment (UK)

Richard Life is Head of Factual Acquisitions and Co-Productions for ITV Studios Global Entertainment, the worldwide rights exploitation arm of ITV plc, one of Europe’s leading commercial broadcasters. He manages the company’s relationships with its factual producer clients both within ITV’s own production business, ITV Studios, and with a wide range of independent producers. This includes overseeing ITV Global’s co-financing activities and the acquisition of factual content for global exploitation. Previously, he was Head of Programming at Channel 4 International (C4i), where he managed C4i’s deficit financing, program development and co-production activities. Prior to joining C4i, Richard was Group Editor at Broadcasting & Cable’s International Television Group and spent time as both news and international editor of leading UK trade publication Broadcast.
