Stuart was appointed Head of Documentaries in 2004. He commissions across the genres of History, Science, Natural History, Religion and Ethics, Indigenous and Contemporary programming. Recent highlights include The PM is Missing, Two in the Top End, The Oasis, Sounds of Aus, How Kevin Bacon Cured Cancer, Ten Pound Poms, Mawson: Life and Death in Antarctica, The Abbey, Captain Cook: Obsession and Discovery as well as Who Killed Dr. Bogle and Mrs. Chandler?, the highest ever rating documentary on the ABC. Prior to joining the ABC Stuart worked as an independent producer across a range of genres including factual, documentary, children’s television and gaming.
