Tim Flattery, Executive Producer, Branded Entertainment, Carat Engage (Australia)

Tim is a highly experienced writer/producer specialising in branded entertainment. He was the E.P. behind the $40 million branded entertainment deal between Baz Luhrmann, 20th Century Fox and Tourism Australia for the movie Australia. In 2008 he was appointed Executive Producer – Branded Entertainment, at media agency Carat where he is currently producing two brand-funded TV series (one for Channel 9 and another for Channel 7 in the 6.30pm Saturday evening slot). In 2009 he set up his own branded entertainment agency: Story Hunter and in 2010 will be running the company full time. Previously, he was Director of Branded Entertainment at Mitchell Media where he developed Australia’s first brand-funded prime-time TV series for Channel Nine, Sudden Impact. Tim also spent two years as Head of TV and Internet TV Development for Becker Entertainment USA, developing projects for clients including Discovery Channel, National Geographic, TLC and Animal Planet.
