Andrea Cross, Independent Producer/Writer/Director (Germany)

Currently based in Hamburg, Germany, Andrea Cross has over 15 years of experience serving in many different roles in all aspects of long-form documentary production. She worked for over ten years at the acclaimed PBS science documentary series NOVA, conveying the technical language of science to a broad audience on nearly twenty five hours of television, and was Supervising Producer for the premiere year of the magazine series NOVA ScienceNOW. She is the recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award for her work as Coordinating Producer of the three-hour NOVA miniseries The Elegant Universe, and produced a documentary on New York brain surgeons for the U.S. cable network MSNBC. She continues to use her international production expertise on various projects in Germany.
