Dr. Patrick Hörl is the founder and Managing Director of the factual entertainment label Autentic. The company owns and operates pay-TV channels in Europe and South Africa. It co-produces and distributes high-quality documentaries.

Prior to launching his own business, Patrick worked as MD of Discovery Communications in the German-speaking regions.

Patrick is one of the founders of Documentary Campus, and serves as Chairman of the Board of Campus, a pan-European advanced training program (supported by the MEDIA-Programme of the European Union) for young filmmakers/aspirants in the fields of documentary film and factual entertainment; the leading institution for the advanced training of authors, directors and editors in the area of international documentary film co-productions
