Werner Vennewald, Head of Development and Non-Fiction, Vincent TV GmbH (Germany)

Dr. Werner Vennewald is the head of development and non-fiction at Vincent TV and was previously head of non-fiction at Monaco Film Hamburg. Since 2003 he has worked on numerous international productions with TV partners in Canada, Italy, France and Australia. In cooperation with Spiegel TV, he produced Schabowskis Note – The Night the Wall Came Down, for which he received the Gold World Medal from the New York Television & Film Awards. Previously, he was executive producer and general manager at PROVOBIS Film- und Fernsehgesellschaft in Hamburg, and production manager and line producer at AVE in Bremen. He holds a PhD in political science and economics from Singapore and Hamburg and is a member of the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers Steering Committee.
