2011 World Congress of Science & Factual Producers : Melbourne, Australia December 1-4

Sarah Barker, Researcher, Windfall Films (UK)

After four years of studying physics and astrophysics, Sarah acquired a taste for science communication while working in schools and science museums in Sheffield and Birmingham. Inspired to learn more, she set off to London where she gained an MSc in Science Communication at Imperial College. It was here that she made her first short film, and fell in love with documentary filmmaking. Now working as a researcher on a brand new geology series at Windfall Films in London, Sarah has big plans to develop innovative new formats for factual television.
